Stewardship at Depth. For over 60 years, Knoblauch Resources has partnered with the ocean. Founded in 1961 as a modest salvage concern operating out of Bremerhaven, we have grown into a globally integrated marine resource company with operations in fourteen exclusive economic zones and a fleet of nineteen purpose-built vessels. We believe the sea is not a frontier to be conquered, but a neighbor to be understood. That belief guides everything we do — from precision seabed characterization to our proprietary Low-Disturbance Recovery™ platforms, engineered to leave the benthic floor substantially as we found it.
Our Commitments
- Carbon-Conscious Extraction. Our vessels run on a transitional biofuel blend, offsetting the equivalent of 40,000 passenger flights annually through our reforestation partners in the Global South.
- The Knoblauch Blue Fund. Two-tenths of one percent of net recoverable revenue is reinvested in coastal community initiatives, marine literacy programs, and third-party ecological assessment.
- Radical Transparency. All environmental impact findings are made available to regulators in the jurisdictions where disclosure is required.
- Zero Recorded Incidents. at our flagship facilities since the 2019 restructuring.
